An Access database designed to let you record, categorise and then find by category: books, magazine and journal articles, and news and other information.

You can print literature searches, and also store information about organisations and useful websites.

Supplied on CD or zipped by email. The database is written using Microsoft Access and requires Access on your computer for you to use the database. It can be installed on a local area network and data can be input or read by more than one person at a time. Contact us to discuss installation and training services.

A cure for information overload

Someone once calculated that a weekday edition of The Times contains more information than the average person was likely to come across in an entire lifetime in 17th century England. They also said that the information available to us doubles every 5 years, and that more information has been produced in the last 30 years than during the previous 5,000.
 
For many organisations, particularly those offering helpline and advice services, containing and cataloguing the mass of essential information presents an enormous challenge.
